This is what today looks like, since the second reading report for Old Testament Survey is due tomorrow! I'm still not done, which is a bummer, and it looks like I'll be up until 3 or 4 in the morning working on...but that's college, I suppose.

Trying New Things: Pie

Tonight I tried pie for the first time! Leslie made it tonight, so when Ally and I both got back from our respective jobs we split a burrito and had some pie. I'm not sure eating it with a burrito was the best idea, so I only ended up having a few bites, but I'm looking forward to having another piece one of these days! You're so domestic, Leslie. (;

Missions Conference Is Over

Missions Conference ended today and I feel like I've been on the go since. I've sat around multiple times today just hanging out with friends, but it's not the same as the regular weeks when I have time between classes to relax by myself.

I had a missionary stay in my room this week (LOVED TO MEET YOU, NANCY!!!) and I slept in Ally's room because of my lack of waking up in the morning. There wasn't much time to connect with Nancy, but there was enough to know that she is the sweetest lady and I'm looking forward to actually sitting down one of these days and getting to know her better.

Like I said yesterday, this next week is going to be crazy, so I'm about to make a game plan for the next few days. Thankfully we have Monday and Tuesday off and I will be doing my best to utilize that time as much as possible. Especially since I have some guests coming in next weekend...!!!

Missions Conference Chaos

Missions conference is coming to an end, in full chaos mode. There are lots of events, notes to take, and organizations to look into. It's going by very quickly and I cannot believe my first Missions Conference as a Moody student is almost over. Funnily enough, I'm not in much of a writing mood. I haven't been for a while now. I need to get my life/mind organized this weekend or I'm going to EXPLODE. #perfectionistproblems

Soooo...some progress this week! I'm so behind on staying updated on Ravelry! It's driving me crazy! I've recently started reading a chapter or so each night in the book I'm on, which is helping to get through it! Every little bit helps! This week is Missions Conference at school so I've been knitting through all the sessions. Woo!
